EDWARDIAN 3.22ct OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING - Platinum - c 1910. An unbelievable Edwardian engagement ring. The extraordinary old European cut diamond in the centre weights in at an impressive 3.22 carat and is graded by HRD Antwerp as L colour, VS2 clarity. The diamond is set in a four claw collet with gorgeous scroll detailing in the gallery. The intricate shoulders features eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds with a border of baguette cut sapphires leading to a slim, platinum band with engraving running down the shank. A wondrous ring loaded with detail and beauty. Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156839). Old European cut, with eight cut diamond and baguette cut sapphires in the shoulders. L (F to G in the shoulders). The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2. The centre is a known 3.22 carat, with an approximate 0.10 carat of diamonds and 0.32 carat sapphire in the shoulders. The centre diamond is 9.39 x 8.78mm and sits 5.8mm from the finger.
