14"x56"x1.5 Antique Solid Wood Pantry Door w/3 Raised Panels. Robust, pantry door salvaged from an old, affluent home in Northeastern PA.

The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is completely painted gray. It has a raised, 3-panel arrangement on the front side and no details on the back. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood.

New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. The door was refinished and outfitted with new hardware about 20 years ago.

The finish is still in great shape, however, if you prefer a rougher, more distressed look, you could take some sandpaper to it and rough it up a bit before installing. Hardware : The door comes with all of the hardware shown in the photos. Condition : The door is in excellent condition free of any breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. It's strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition.

Expect a few nicks and scratches. Refinish/Repaint : We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.

We could modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs.
