24x83 Antique Vintage Old Solid Wood Interior Pantry Door Beveled Mirror Panel

W/Beveled Glass Mirror & 2 Panels. Handsome, antique, closet door salvaged from an old, home in Southwestern Long Island, NY. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine. It has 2 recessed (flat) panels on one side, and a mirror on the other side. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. The door is not equipped with any hardware. The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues.

Most of the blemishes that it ha. S will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". The glass is also in great shape with only subtle scratches.

We could strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. We have MANY photos of doors that we've restored that could give you an idea of how this pair could clean up. And we'll give you a quote.

The front of the door is the paneled side and the back is the mirrored side. Is set to swing into a room towards the left.

If you want the mirrored side to be the front, it would swing toward you, away from the room and end up on your right side. We could change the swing if you'd like. Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Door : 23 3/4 " x 83 1/4 " x 1 3/8.
