Description : An antique carved and painted working Duck Decoy, Goldeneye Drake , 13.5L, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, c. Solid cedar body with pine head. A true working glass eye model with early, dry repaint and tremendous Folk Art appea l. The photos are probably the best description. Condition : Honest gunning/field wear throughout including dings, scuffs, soiling, etc.

Consistent with age, use and exposure to the elements. It has not been cleaned. Neck filler is missing; the head is still very secure and turned just slightly to the right. Base with some expected linear checks, a circular inset lead ballast and remnants of the original rigging. See photos for complete details and close-ups.
