Antique Trout Creel Vintage Fly Fishing Wood Woven Fish Basket Old Primitive

  

Hello and thank you for taking your time to view our listing. Creel appears just as shown, and comes with the original leather straps. Basket has the leather pouch on the front, looks like the buttons might have been replaced as they look newer than the basket.

Basket was hanging for decades inside former owners garage. When looking inside you can see the years of dust and dirt on the woven wicker. We have not made any effort to clean the wood portion. We did wipe the leather with some car leather wipes to remove the dust. Could not find any brand names or markings on the basket.

Lid still opens and shuts as it should. This is not a modern version of a creel, we do believe this one to be from the 1930-40's time frame. Please message with any questions.
