Khanda with silver damascened koftgari work in floral and creeper design on the handle and blade is real old Damascus steel (sekela) water pattern. Sword late mughal era northern India sword form south area.
Blade is in original condition with pitting & patina probably a high quality fighting blade dating from the nineteenth century. Blade have three blood groove with Single edge blade, and little rust can been seen on blade or sword hilt. Sword handle has fine silver inlay mughal koftgari work & with knuckle guard.
And The curved pommel spike is 10 cms long. It's overall in good condition. Cover made from wood and leather sheath.
A very good piece for beginner's collection. Kirch/ firangi is approximately 37.5/96 cm overall length & blade approx.
Overall sword weight = 1.480 gram (with scabbard). Sword weight = 1.290 gram (without scabbard).
