This amazing and beautiful chess attract attantion from the first view. The date of made September 12, 1955. (the stamp inside the board). 5 factory (factroy stamp with the star, photo attached). This chess set is well preserved in amazing condition for this age.

It's beautiful in this vintage condition, the graceful figures in the old Soviet style. Even if you do not play chess, and are not related to this intellectual sport, chess sets are always nice to have in your house as a kind of decoration for your home. Makes a fabulous gift for a chess lover.

Condition: some of the pieces are missing the substrate, the white knight has no muzzle, two black knights have a small chip on ear, chessboard with cracks, small swollen veneer in places. The chess board and chess pieces bear traces of numerous chess battles! Chessboard 37/37 cm 14.56/14.56 inches. King 10 cm 3.93 inches. Queen 9.5 cm 3.74 inches. Bishop 8.0 cm 3.14 inches.
