Circa 1879 Solitaire style engagement ring contains 1 old mine cut diamond set into an 8 prong head. Measuring at 7.5mm at the top, rises 7.0mm above the finger, tapering to 2.5mm wide and 1.3mm thick at the base of the shank. The inside of the shank is engraved with initials and a date W. FYI: The dark spots on the band in the photos are shadows.
