VTG Antique Victorian Old Mine Rose Cut Diamond 18K Yellow Gold Ring Size 7 LJC2

  

Video will open in a new window. There is a section missing on the shoulder as seen in the 3rd picture. It does not affect the diamonds in any way. The black Enamel really sets off the design of this ring. I believe it is from the Victorian era 1850's-1870'.

It is in really nice shape with it being so old. There are 7 Old Mine Cut diamonds in the middle. The Rose cut diamonds are in the outer Halo. The diamonds range from 3.7mm to 1.8mm for an approx. Total carat weight of 1.25ctw.

Only way to know for sure is to pull them and weight them out of the setting. These are sparkly diamonds being at minimum SI clarity with I/J color. These are nice real deal old mine and rose cut diamonds. The ring falls on a US ring mandrel between a US size 7, UK Size N 1/2. The diamond section of the ring is 21mm north to south by 10mm east to west.

It is not hallmarked for carat, but has been tested, and verified weighing in at 4.2 grams. This item is a vintage pre-owned and there will be ordinary and normal use marks.
